Table Top
Exercises
Welcome to "Choose your own adventure: Corpus Animatum Syndicate," a two-hour tabletop exercise that immerses participants in a scenario where a hospital faces both external and internal threats. In this two-hour tabletop workshop, we simulate a crisis scenario where a hospital must counter both internal and external threats, demonstrating the importance of a diversified skill set within today's healthcare landscape. The ability to manage risks, rapidly respond to incidents and hunt for threats is crucial but can be difficult and expensive to acquire in real-time situations.
This workshop allows participants to utilize an operational solution in uncovering crucial data and detecting unusual activities. Hospital administrators, incident responders, clinicians, and policymakers must unite to safeguard healthcare organizations from adversaries.
Key takeaways from this session include:
1. A deep understanding of the complexities and risks inherent in healthcare settings and our rapidly changing world.
2. The ability to develop incident response techniques through hands-on involvement in an active attack, guided by best practices and informed decision-making.
3. An exploration into potential vulnerabilities of the healthcare setting.
4. The fostering of a proactive culture of threat detection and incident response through exchanging knowledge and collaborative interaction with other participants.
Equips participants with practical knowledge and firsthand experience in leveraging technology and operations to safeguard their systems effectively. Participants will gain practical insights into clinical decision-making, incident response techniques, risk management, and proactive threat detection using operational solutions and collaborative efforts. The overarching goal is to empower participants to preemptively tackle security challenges and boost their organization's resilience against future threats within an ever-changing healthcare sector.
This tabletop is built to welcome new and continuing players of all skill levels and is the final chapter in our hacker summer camp biohacking disaster
