We all need to sleep and having sleep apnea sucks. Sleep apnea diagnoses have become more prevalent among our society. The continuous positive airway pressure or CPAP equipment, like the Phillips Dreamstation, helps individuals with sleep apnea by providing a regulated air stream into their respiratory system. Problem is sometimes these medical devices have manufacturer recalls https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/e/sleep/communications/src-update and the main concern around the recalls are due to the increased risk of getting much sicker while using the devices, usually due to the reduced manufacturing costs per component within medical devices.
